Founded in 1947, Langmuir + Hay is a family-operated practice based in Glasgow’s West End.

Providing quantity surveying, project management and employer’s agent services, the team at Langmuir + Hay offer expert cost consultancy and procurement advice to construction professionals throughout the UK.

Our clients come from a variety of sectors. Since the 1970s, we have focussed our service within the public sector and primarily operated within the social housing and community regeneration arena. We remain heavily invested in this sector and are supporting a number of registered social landlords (RSLs) in the challenges they face in delivering their ambitious housing programmes.

Our contracts with housing associations range in value from £75,000 to £45,000,000 and include projects designed to deliver rigorous standards such as Passivhaus, Energiesprong, and modular offsite construction.

Today, we consider housing associations to be among our most significant and longest-standing clients.
