I have over 30 years’ experience in private practice working as a quantity surveyor, employers’ agent and project manager. My core experience is in new build and refurbishment projects for the social housing sector, but I also perform consultancy services for clients in the residential, commercial, leisure, and education sectors.
Having joined the L+H team in 1991, I’m known in the office for trying to not make things too complicated. When I’m not cost planning, preparing tender documents, or visiting sites you’ll find me supporting junior staff and trainees.
Commissions for projects have varied in value from £50K to £50M.

- Recent projects in the education sector ranging from £2.5m to £15M works value.
- I’m interested in conservation of historic buildings and have successfully completed many complex projects with a Category A or B listing.
- I’m resourceful, personable, a problem-solver and team player.
- I enjoy city breaks in Spain and Italy and reading crime fiction.
A little known fact about me:
I like to watch any form of motorsport.
What I cannot function without at work:
Caffeine and MS Excel.
